Social Impact

Entertainment With A Conscience

From day one Social Impact is the core of AEM’s DNA. Since Ivette can remember she fights for those without a voice so naturally this is her life’s mission.

Ivette serves on several non-profit and civil rights boards including (NHMC) National Hispanic Media Coalition, (CHCI) Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, (NCAA) Latina Caucus member, as well as leads and participates in industry wide committees towards gender parity and fair representation of under-served communities.

After hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico, Ivette founded Taino Warriors a Hollywood-based non-profit whose mission is to support local Puerto Rican NGO thought leaders who exhibit innovative leadership to empower underserved communities affected by hurricane Maria and socio-economic disparities with sustainable tools and solutions towards rebuilding Puerto Rico with a concentration on impact in Environment, Agriculture and Children’s education and mental health. I believe media has the power to change hearts and minds and unite people of all races, cultures and economic status in common humanity. I believe this is something worth fighting for.
